How does online learning work?
space2create are offering a range of City & Guilds courses developed to be delivered online with email support, which allow you to discuss and develop your ideas and solve any problems you may have with your work. A helping hand when you need it.

How long will it take me to do the course?
How long you take to complete the course will depend on how much time you devote to it, but most students complete a level 1 course in three to six months and you can take up to a year if you want to. Level 2 courses will usually take six to twelve months; however you can take up to three years if you need to.

What will I need to be a student?
To take part in these courses you will need to be online, and have a computer, printer, scanner and a camera. Digital cameras are handy, but you can scan in photos taken with a regular camera. If you need any help to send your images by email then contact info.space2create.net or your course tutor, and we will help you. You will also need access to the tools, materials and equipment specified for the particular course that you are interested in.

Will I have my work examined?
The standard of all students coursework will be monitored by space2create, and all work is subject to External Verification by City &Guilds to ensure that their international standards are maintained. You do not sit an examination.

Do I receive personal supervision and help?
Yes, you will have a personal tutor who is there to help and guide you every step of the way - support is just an email away..

How much time is needed each week for study?
There are no set time requirements, you work at your own pace however many students spend between 3 - 6 hrs per week on their courses.  The flexible nature of our courses allows you to fit your creative work around all the other areas of your life - family, work and so on.

I have difficulty finding time for the coursework
Many students find that if they set aside a specific time during the week and tell their friends and family that they do not want to be disturbed, it gives them a helpful start to build a working routine.
