 Hi again and welcome to our occasional newsletter
Thanks to all of you who applied for our free Adult Learners Week workshops and made it such a success. Thanks also to all of you who sent us pictures of your work you made some excellent pieces. We would love to see more so please keep on sending them in. We have decided to keep on giving the workshops away for another month so tell your friends.
Here at space2create we are delighted to launch our new Creative Techniques courses.
These new modular courses from City & Guilds will allow you to learn in a way that suits you. These courses are delivered online with full support. This allows you to discuss and develop your ideas and solve any problems you may have with your work. A helping hand when you need it.
The suite of Creative Techniques offers qualifications at Levels 1, 2 & 3, and you can take a single Award or a Certificate which consists of four awards (Developing Design Ideas, Sampling Craft Techniques and two Craft Awards.) This offers great flexibility in your learning. An added advantage is that these qualifications fit within the new National Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) allowing you to bank credits towards a Certificate or Diploma.
The Awards will help you develop a range of skills and ideas and apply them to your work.
The Certificates are similar to the previous Design and Craft Visual Techniques courses and consisting of four awards, they offer a more in depth approach to your learning.
Dont worry if you are currently taking one of our Design and Craft courses as we will continue to run these for existing students, and you will still receive your certificate from City & Guilds when you finish your course.
